H/Advisors strengthens its presence in Brussels
05/11/2024H/Advisors is excited to launch a new group office in Brussels within the Havas Village in Brussels, which will serve as the operations centre for public affairs.
The office will unite all H/Advisors agencies under the same designation, “bringing together an international team of specialists to provide world-class advisory services at the heart of European politics”.
Antonio Cunha Vaz, founder and president at Cunha Vaz & Associados, has been appointed as the new office’s executive chairman, with Helena Walsh, former senior partner at H/Advisors Cicero in Brussels, named as chief executive.
The Brussels base has around 15 specialists in industries ranging from technology to energy, healthcare, and finance, and will serve as a central hub for public affairs, according to H/Advisors.
Cunha Vaz and Walsh will “lead the Brussels team in delivering strategic counsel to clients navigating the complex regulatory and political landscape of the European Union”, the agency announced.
The new office will “unite all of H/Advisors’ agencies, bringing together an international team of experts to provide world-class advisory services in the heart of European policymaking”.
It will focus on providing guidance on European Union regulations, public affairs strategies, and stakeholder engagement, serving clients such as the European Appeals Centre, European Hotel Forum, and Procter & Gamble.
Cunha Vaz said: “Our new Brussels office marks a significant step in our network global strategy, enabling us to offer fully integrated public affairs solutions to clients across industries.”
Walsh commented: “I am excited to take on this role as Chief Executive Officer of the Brussels office at such a pivotal time.”
Stéphane Fouks, executive chairman at H/Advisors, and executive vice president at Havas, said: “This is an important milestone in building our global public affairs capabilities within H/Advisors.”
