William Clutterbuck

William specialises in corporate and financial communications, with particular expertise in crisis and litigation public relations. He advises clients in the asset management and wider financial services sectors, supporting them on reputation management, brand positioning and stakeholder engagement. His recent work includes managing media response around regulatory investigations, litigation and major market events.

Before joining H/Advisors Maitland at this founding in 1994, he worked as a journalist at the Financial Times and later moved into financial public relations. Over a 30-year career, he has led communications programmes for UK and international clients, with a focus on long-term reputation building through both stable and turbulent market cycles. He currently leads the firm’s financial services team and heads its litigation PR practice.
