Ryan Kisiel

Ryan specialises in sustainability and ESG strategy, with a focus on communications, reporting and stakeholder engagement. As an experienced senior communications adviser, he has provided strategic advice to HSBC on its global sustainability agenda. He has also advised clients including Virgin, Chanel, Burberry, Etihad Airways, Repsol, National Grid, CVC and LafargeHolcim on their ESG reporting and content. Recently he helped the UK Government structure and execute its first green bond and has advised several governments across the world.

Before joining H/Advisors Maitland to lead the Sustainability & ESG practice, he advised the UK Government on pensions and social care policy, and spent over a decade as an award-winning journalist at national newspapers. His background in media enables him to build influential relationships that promote and protect corporate reputations.
