Katharine Spence

Katharine specialises in corporate communications, with a focus on media strategy, executive positioning and reputation management. She advises private and FTSE-listed companies across sectors including retail, consumer, and financial services, most recently on leadership communications and integrated media campaigns.

Before joining H/Advisors Maitland, she ran her own agency, Plumhill PR, which later merged with the firm. Her previous experience includes leading global communications at Harrods, working as a consultant at Brunswick, and spending seven years as a reporter and correspondent at Sky News. Her 20-year career spans journalism and strategic advisory, combining media insight with corporate communications expertise to support senior executives through high-profile opportunities and challenges.
