Fons provides companies with advice in areas including capital market transactions, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance issues — including reporting around issues like CSRD. A specialist in investor relations and public affairs, he has notable expertise in communications processes around hostile acquisitions and protection strategies.

His clients include Sif Holding, ReintenInfra, Euronext, Vivendi, and Dutch Star Companies, and he has previously taken on in-house roles at Heijmans, Dockwise, and Dutch Lotteries. He was Chairman of the Dutch Investor Relations Society for eight years. He currently serves as Chairman of Centrum Elst, which represents the interests of local entrepreneurs and property owners.
